Southill Children's Fund founder Billy Higgins recently returned to Ireland to deliver checks in person to three schools and youth programs, continuing the Fund's decades-long commitment to children in Donegal and Limerick.
Ballaghderg Pre-School, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
Billy delivered a $5,000 check to Ballaghderg Pre-School, which serves children with special needs. The Fund has supported the school for many years, and past donations have helped fund improvements such as a multi-sensory room tailored to the children's individual needs and the development of the school's gardens.
Southside Boxing Academy, Limerick
In Limerick, Billy delivered a check to the Southside Boxing Academy. Youth boxing has been part of the Fund's work in Limerick since the very beginning, giving young people a place to build discipline, fitness and confidence.
The Sisters in Limerick
Billy also delivered a check to the Sisters in Limerick to support their children's youth program.
Because Southill Children's Fund is run entirely by volunteers, your donations go directly to programs like these. Thank you to everyone whose generosity made these gifts possible.
